The 9F8LE4-12D1.00 Outdoor Profile Cable (OSP) is ideal for use in campus backbone applications between buildings, including overhead runs, buried runs and conduits. The cable is rated for outdoor conditions and the stresses that come with them during installation. XGLO and LightSystem fiber options are available to support high-speed 1Gbps and 10Gbps Ethernet, Gigabit ATM and Fibre Channel applications depending on the configuration.
XGLO® Cable Features
• Rip cord runs the length of the cable.
• Tubes are filled with a hydrophobic gel.
• Corrugated metal tape armor.
• Black medium-density polyethylene (MDPE) outer jacket, which is UV resistant.
• 16-144 fiber cables have an FRP center armor element, 2-12 fiber cables do not.
