COMMANDO AirONE AIR-AP1200 Indoor Wireless Access Point enables communication between wireless and wired computers/laptops and mobile devices in the network. It complies with IEEE802.11AC/N/G/B standard with dual band 2.4GHz+5GHz with wave 2.0 technology. It has separate Gigabit Ethernet WAN with 48V, IEEE802.3at PoE+ input & LAN port.

It is 4 in 1 mode Access Point with Gateway, Repeater, WISP and Wireless AP mode with range 91 meters and above depending on surrounding conditions with up to 630mW input Power. It is industrial grade Wall/Ceiling PoE+ Wireless Indoor Access Point with speed up to 1200Mbps Wi-Fi speed depending on models, equipped with separate Gigabit Ethernet WAN & LAN port which enhances the sharing of files, photo, audio, video and gaming experience over wireless network.

It can also be used as DHCP server and works as layer 3 device when configured in gateway mode. It supports (IEEE 802.3at) PoE+, which helps in easy installation by eliminating the need of a dedicated power source and need of a power adapter. It can identify and determine the correct transmission speed and half/full duplex mode of the attached devices. It also supports standard Auto-MDI/MDI-X that can detect the type of connection to any Ethernet device without requiring special straight or crossover cables, Store-and-Forward forwarding scheme to ensure low latency and high data integrity.

In Gateway mode, all Ethernet is bridged together, and wireless clients will connect ISP access point or router connecting directly to the Internet via WAN PORT. NAT is enabled and PCs in Ethernet LAN port this is the same IP to ISP through wireless LAN.
Repeater Mode:
In Repeater mode is used to extend the range of wireless coverage of existing Wi-Fi network. This mode is suitable when you is in a Wi-Fi dead-zone or a place with weak wireless signal, and you want to have a larger effective range of the wireless signal throughout your home or office.

Convergence Time

By default, RSTP used for all COMMANDO SoldierOS and it takes less than 10 seconds for entire network to converge. RSTP converges faster because it uses a handshake mechanism based on point-to-point links instead of the timer-based process used by STP. IP multicast snooping and IGMP automatically prevent flooding of IP multicast traffic. IEEE 802.1AB Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP) facilitates easy mapping using network management applications with LLDP automated device discovery protocol LLDP-MED (Media Endpoint Discovery) defines a standard extension of LLDP that stores values for parameters such as QoS and VLAN to configure automatically network devices such as IP phones. STP/RSTP/MSTP for loop free network, IEEE 802.1s Multiple Spanning Tree provides high link availability by allowing multiple spanning trees; provides legacy support for IEEE 802.1d and IEEE 802.1w IEEE 802.3ad Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LACP) and port trunking support up to 8 static, dynamic, or distributed trunks with each trunk having up to 8 to 16 links (ports) per static trunk. Security

The AAA feature allows you to verify the identity of, grant access to, and track the actions of users. The COMMANDO Soldier C2000 Series Switches support Remote Access Dial-In User Service (RADIUS) or Terminal Access Controller Access-Control System Plus (TACACS+) protocols. Based on the user ID and password combination that you provide, the COMMANDO Soldier C2000 Series Switches perform local authentication or authorization using the local database or remote authentication or authorization using one or more AAA servers. A pre-shared secret key provides security for communication between the COMMANDO Soldier C2000 Series Switches and AAA servers. Power Budget According to Cable Length

Ideally, shorter cables would use less power because of less power degradation over their length This is not the case with most devices as they will use the same amount of power across the cable regardless of whether it is 10 or 100 meters in length.
